Media & Secruity Ministry
We have multiple needs in our media and security ministries.
Our First Responder Emergency Detail (FRED) is a group of volunteers based here at Saint Joseph, who help in multiple different facets of our parish community. FRED isn’t just a security team, we hope to enlist others with any medical experience should anything happen at the parish on Sunday, from bee stings to low blood sugar. Our security aspect is more of being aware of the surroundings at Mass. Please consider joining our team.
We also have openings in our video and audio ministries as well as a need for Tech Support during our Religious Ed Classes.

Family Ministries
Family Ministries encompass all stages of life, from "the womb to the tomb." Our immediate needs for volunteers include Baptism Assistants, Marriage Mentor Couples and Child Care Volunteers, but we will post more opportunites as our ministry continues to grow. Please consider giving of your time and talents and joining our group of dedicated volunteers!

St. Joseph School
St. Joseph School is always looking to add to our recess crew, lunchroom crew, and substitute teacher list. If you'd like to work once or twice a week, more regularly, or only here and there as-needed, any help is appreciated.
There is also currently a paid position open for the SJS morning Extended Daycare. Call the school office (248-693-6215) if you are interested or follow the link below to our contact form.

If you like to dig into a project with your hands when you serve, the Evangelical Charity Ministry is the place for you! We have a mixture of ways to serve from one day service projects to monthly and weekly commitments. Our church family gathers on the weekend to worship, serve and fellowship together... the warm greetings, hot coffee and delicious donuts need happy people to offer them! LAY PASTORAL CARE & ADULT FORMATION MINISTRIES

Do people tell you that you have a gift for listening and/or consoling people? Are you the kind of person who is comfortable being with people as they go through milestone events such as an engagement or marriage, even those going through life’s difficulties such as illness and loss? Do you find meaning in ministering to God’s people as Jesus did? Do you enjoy sharing your faith with others? If so, please consider joining our Lay Pastoral Care or Adult Formation Ministries. These teams cover a broad range of ministry settings from engaged couple mentoring, visiting the sick and the elderly, ministering to the grieving, accompanying those going through difficulties, to being an OICA table leader or sponsor.
