Project People - General information***2025 Dates***
Sunday, July 13th-18th, 2025
Subiaco Retreat House (on the grounds of St. benedict's Monastery in Oxford)
Project People is an over-night community service retreat during which we answer our Christian call to serve others. During this 5 night event, teens spend the day serving in our community doing various projects. Projects include yard work, painting, house cleaning, decking, floor installations (and others) for the elderly or those who would otherwise not be able to have the work done. The evenings are spent in community - reflecting on our day, small group discussions, social and spiritual activities and LOTS of fun! it is an amazing, potentially life-changing, experience that is loved by all!!

Religious Education - Volunteer Opportunities
Catechist Helper (Pre-school/Kindergarten): We have an amazing religious education program here at St. Joseph. We need teen helpers for our Preschool and Kindergarten classes on Monday or Tuesday night, from 6-7:20. Please look through the sign up and see if there are nights you can come in and help. Not a weekly commitment. Click HERE to choose your night you can help.
Catechist Helper (1st-8th grade): Teen helpers for regular RE classes (kindergarten through grade 8 – with mostly lower grades needing help) are needed on Mondays or Tuesdays from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. We ask that this role be a weekly commitment. If interested, please contact the religious education office.
JOYFUL COMMUNITY - NO HUSH SERVICE: Teens can volunteer to help with this special needs prayer service. It is held on the 3rd Sunday of each month. This is not a monthly committment. Click HERE to sign to help -
